Reporting To QA Manager

What would this person do on a day-to-day basis?

• Create Test Plan, Test Strategy, Test Case, Bug Reports, Test Status Reports, etc
• Work in an Agile environment with geographically diverse teams (located in multiple timezones) using tools like Jira, Confluence and collaborate using Slack
• Work independently (without any supervision) in all the phases of testing like Smoke, System, Functional, Regression, Retesting, Exploratory Testing, and others
• Should be able to handle client queries/calls, provide SIT (if required) and UAT demos
• Participate in project standup/scrum regular meetings & update project testing status to all the stakeholders
• Review requirements and identify the gaps in requirements and user journeys
• Review test cases, identify missing cases, suggest inclusions to the team
• Should have working experience of Ecommerce web applications
• Should be willing to lead a small team for 3 to 4 members

• 8 to 10 years of experience in Manual Testing
• Web Application testing
• API Testing
• HTML testing,
• UI testing and knowledge of browser-specific constraints/issues
• Compatibility testing, Responsive Testing
• Accessibility Testing/Usability testing
• Automation Testing & Load testing (nice to have)
• Attention to details
• Comfortable with repeating the tests multiple times without getting complacent.

• Very good Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work under tight timeline
• Should be willing to work various tools and frameworks
