A Customized Automobile Website Discovery Experience

CONTEXT

Honda Car India was seeking to refresh their digital presence in order to achieve significantly higher sales targets. The new website needed to reflect their premium positioning and showcase the intelligent and exciting driving experience that drivers have with their Honda cars. The company was looking for a differentiated design that adapted well for website visitors using mobile devices.

APPROACH

A brand immersion workshop clearly set the vision and ambition for the new website.

A landscape analysis of leading car websites helped uncover opportunities for differentiating the way Honda cars need to be showcased. With an inviting mega menu that featured images of their cars, buyers were directed to an immersive page that introduced and excited them about their desired car models.

HIGHLIGHTS

An immersive design to present an exciting driving experience

The website needed to incorporate several components that needed to be mobile friendly. The site incorporated components to support 360° as well as day & night view; carousels; animations; and on the fly transitions to work in both desktop and mobile view. Prospective buyers users could configure the displayed cars with their desired colours and specification.

CTAs were clearly positioned for optimizing test drive form conversions. Intuitive EMI calculators and dealer locator features were designed for a great experience.
